The Double page sp[read is in 4 differant colums, Even though the images are in differnt places it does not overshadow the actual alignment of the text and we can still clearly see the use of columns. Also not many colours are used mainly black, reds, greys and white. This keeps the originality of the magazine not overdoing it. The images have a boreder to have the effect that that image is the main image on the magazine.

Most of the wording and the contens information is to the left, The page is neat and proffessional due to the use alignment. The housestyle resembles a grey background with an capital letters making the image stand out as well as the information. Only 3 font styles are used which means there is little to distract you from the main image on the contents page. The use of red, black and grey are dull colours creating an unique look to the whole magazine. The image is in front of the text and using Duffy as a model makes the contents page look that much more attractive!.

This Magazine has a large picture of a medium shot of 50 cent, this follows the theme of all the hip hop magazines as they all have a main focus of a famous artist. however the main colours on this particular magazine are blue and white rather then red, this shows this magazine is more calm and not as intimidating it also shows he is masculine as a male colour. The pose of the person aswel is less threatening compared to ‘the source’ and ‘XXL’ as it is just a normal ‘model’ like Shouting rather than an intimidating glare. As in XXL the title is set behind the main photograph. This again is connotes that the artist is bigger than the title of the magazine. The main title of this magazine is ‘True’ and it is written in large blue letters. Also the main titles are written in blue with the subtitle written in silver this shows the wealth of the magazine as silver is money and the persons name is 50 Cent and the 50cent coin is silver so there is link between the colours of the magazine and money and the main picture focus. The subtitles are round the sides and dont overlap the main picture, this shows that the the designer of the magazine is trying to show the main picture as largely as possible and almost trying to show off that they have such a famous artist appearing on their magazine. The subtitle has ‘…’ which invites the reader to read on as they want to know what is happeneing in the rest of the story.

The type of people that will read this again will be fand of the genre hiphop
when compared to other magazines such as the source and XXL this magazine is alot simpler which shows that some magazines dont rely on alot of detail to be effective. This magazine has no barcode on the front cover, this is to save simplicity and keep the page clear of unneccessary words or pictures.

Overall this magazine cover is much more simple than XXL as it has a whiter background and less titles and general colours. This is just as effective as the other magazines though as it makes the pictures and title stand out in a totally different way.
This magazine is a music magazine, the genre is hip hop. It is vey large and in your face, with a simple white background and a large main image with the actor and rappper "ice cube". There is little text but it does say what is conttained in the magazine.
The colours used are simple yet are very effective the minimul colour effect attracts the user with ony 3 colours used on the actual magazine not including the image. Also the image is infrint of everything on the magazine even the title this shows the image is the dominant object on the magazine.
